I wanted to let you know that I'm preparing for a show at The Globe here in my hometown of Berlin, MD. Talking Birds, Sea Creatures and Animals I Have Yet to Meet. The opening is May 10th and it will be FULL of new paintings and furniture.

About Claymonster: We make one of a kind whimsical monster vessels and thrown stoneware pottery with personality. Claymonster attends about 15 shows a year but this one is the most exciting!

At this event we will have our whimsical pottery, great eats by Cat's mom Arline, 6 very talented guest artists and as many monster fans as we can pack into one room! Its a party!

And did I mention that we save all our seconds for the whole year and make them available for this one event. Bargains, bargains and special needs monsters. Please please please, save a good chunk of your holiday shopping for this event. Ideal for savvy shoppers and people who have a great sense of humor.

This year for the first time Ruby and Wyatt, the second generation of Monster making Holts, will have their own table to sell their own pottery and monsters. They call themselves "Claymonster Too!"

Our First Batch of Tables!

here they are! Jason built these tables entirely from reclaimed wood. we have been having so much fun collaborating. these guys are on display at The Art Institute and Gallery in Salisbury, MD till mid November. i am right now getting ready for Bazaart at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, MD - always held the Friday evening and Saturday after Thanksgiving, then the Friday evening and Saturday after that I will be participating in the Monster of a show in Baltimore. i will post more info on both of those shows soon! great holiday shopping! there will be a pile of these new tables as well as paintings on wood and canvas and LOTS of very unique stocking stuffers. if you see something you like on here...just send me an email.

our new coffee table

This is our new coffee table....and we love it! Even if we do say so ourselves. It was a collaboration between Jason and I. He built it using all scraps and found wood and I painted it. I will be adding a lot more bugs to the top as time goes on. I need to get to work on new inventory for upcoming shows.
We are starting a line of painted tables. All built from reclaimed wood and construction scraps. Jason designed incredibly sturdy and useful tables. He's so talented! So... more on this coming soon. Thank you so much for looking, please let me know what you think.

Lewes Historical Society Craft Show.....

I just recieved notification that I was juried in! This will be the next place to come and see NEW fresh PatriciaMonkey art.  October 6th, 2012. From 9 till 4. Here is a link to their website- LHS ...What a beautiful little town! We are super excited about something new we are working on....this will be it's debut!

There is a Whale in the Garden

I just finished a new painting. It will be on display at The Rehoboth Art League through August.
I love the idea of things being askew and a whale in the garden is just that. He's not sure how he got there....but he likes it and so do all the garden creatures. Thank you so much for looking at my work.
